The year’s biggest trends against each other.
Bring Nature into Your Home
Whether you choose to beat the winter doldrums by bringing nature into your space with lush houseplants or you go a bit quieter with soft furniture and a hygge-inspired design, these decorating ideas offer a little something for every style.
In this bathroom refresh, we took out a plain pedestal sink and replaced it with a vanity. Now you have ample storage and style.
A simple centerset faucet was replaced with a more dramatic widespread brushed nickel one. The arched neck and modern handles on this faucet give the vanity a fresh and updated look.
Now it’s time to brighten things up. Dated frosted sconces are replaced with clear globes, which are not only more attractive but provide better lighting for getting ready in the morning.
Don’t forget the accessories. Use toiletries, plants and frames to make a small shelf both functional and decorative.
Storage in any bathroom is key. A vanity with shelving can hide most of your toiletries and cleaning supplies. Then use decorative baskets on the shelves below.
